Photography isn't just my passion, it's a compulsion.
I moved to Tasmania in Spring 2018 to be closer to nature and to experience actual seasons! I love it here and I'm looking forward to the coming snow.
I've photographed a bit of everything over the years. I started in commercial photography for organisations such as Queensland Government and the Royal Childrens Hospital Foundation. But by night I was documenting some of the world's biggest musicians such as Metallica, Pearl Jam, TOOL, Nick Cave, Joan Jett and hundreds more.
I have also photographed sports for Brisbane Roar and my own project documenting Muay Thai fighters called 8 Limbs (because Muay Thai fighters use two feet, two hands, two knees and two elbows to fight) which led to being awarded AIPP Australian Sports Photographer of the Year.
I then ran my own domestic photography documenting weddings and portraits before my move South.
My passion for photography also involves me in the community as an AIPP Tasmania Council member, Community Lead for the AP Collective, and a presenter at numerous conferences and clubs. In 2016 I was made a Master of Photography by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.
If you have a passion or even a compulsion for photography and would like to develop your skills through a tailored workshop or even a personal tour I'd love to hear from you.
Over the years I've won a few awards and have featured in some exhibitions. You can see a little of that below.
