Bonorong Animal Sanctuary is a sanctuary for injured animals, an animal hospital and surgery, a waterbird rehabilitation center, an animal rescue service, and a community of passionate animal lovers working together to serve wildlife in Tasmania.

As a Bonorong Ambassador in 2019 I photographed many of the residents of the sanctuary to promote the sanctuary and support its efforts to protect Tasmania's native animals.

Every animal at Bonorong has a story. Some have been attacked by dogs and cats, hit by cars, have lost their parents at too young an age to survive, or are pests that cannot be released into the Tasmanian wild (such as kookaburras or sugar gliders).

You can visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and the bonorong.com.au website to support native wildlife in Tasmania.
